Anatomy & Physiology
The study of Anatomy & Physiology is the basis of all health related professions. This course offers a basic understanding of the structures and functions
of the human body and assumes that the student has no previous knowledge of the subject.
The human body is made up of several levels of structural organisation and the student will be introduced to these levels of organisation and how they work together to maintain the health of the body. This knowledge will help the student to better understand what happens to the body when it is injured, stressed or diseased.
Anatomy & Physiology is a pre-requisite of the Australian School of Awareness Holistic Aromatherapy Diploma Course. If you have previously completed a similar course at a recognised training college, exemptions may apply.
It is also a pre-requisite of the Therapeutic Bodywork Diploma course offered at ASA Australia. The Anatomy & Physiology course may be done either "in-house" or by correspondence If you wish to do this subject by correspondence please contact us for further details. We have found that students, studying courses outside ASA, who require A & P Levels 1 & 2, which covers all the body systems have found our course fits the requirements needed for them to obtain their certification. It is also preferable for any Reiki practitioner to take up this study so as to give credibility to their nodality. It helps the Reiki channel in acknowledging the different aspects of the body during "hands on healing". |
