Levels 1 & 2
The human body is made up of several levels of structural organisation and the student will be introduced to these levels of organisation and how they work together to maintain the health of the body. This nowledge will help the student to better understand what happens to the body when it is injured, stressed or diseased.
Anatomy & Physiology is a pre-requisite of the Australian School of Awareness Holistic Aromatherapy Diploma Course. If you have previously completed a similar course, at a recognised training college, exemptions may apply at the disgression of the Director of Studies.

Upon completion, of this component, the therapist is able to palpate the muscles individually and will understand the connection between muscle function to join action.
Students enrolled in ASA Holistic Aromatherapy Diploma Course must complete this component prior to entering Level 4 of the Aromatherapy courses.
If you have previously completed a similar course at a recognised training college, exemptions may apply.

Further to this, preventative measures will be taught to the student at the same level as is taught to nurses, training for their nursing certificates. This will enable the therapist to advise their clients, in an informative and knowledgeable manner. Students enrolled in the ASA Aromatherapy courses must complete this component prior to entering Level 5 of the Diploma course. |
