Pathology
Pathology is the study of the degeneration of the cells/body tissues
 into a diseased state. All health practitioners need to understand how to observe symptoms, as they present themselves, what causes disease and how to alleviate the problems that occur when the body is not functioning at optimum levels of health.
Further to this, preventative measures will be taught to the student at the same level as is taught to nurses, training for their nursing certificates. This will enable the therapist to advise their clients, in an informative and knowledgeable manner. Students enrolled in the ASA Aromatherapy courses must complete this component prior to entering Level 5 of the Diploma course. If you have previously completed a course, in Pathology, at a recognised training college, exemptions may apply. |
